We would like to invite you to join and/or encourage your donations to support Davenport West High School Athletics. Each year, the West Athletic Booster Club funds over $25,000 to support our student-athletes in ALL 21 sports, cheer and dance teams to supplement their athletic department budget to build highly competitive programs (Uniforms, Training equipment, etc.).

West Football Camps 2025 

Coach Nunn and the Davenport West Football Staff would like to invite everyone interested in football and entering school in the fall of 2024 to participate in our summer football camp. This is a non-contact camp focusing on teaching players the fundamentals of all positions on the field. The campers will receive individual and group instruction on offense, defense and special teams throughout the camp. We will focus on the fundamentals of football. This camp will take place on the Davenport West Practice Fields south of the high school. I hope your child is able to join us and help set the foundation in place to build fun and successful football programs in Davenport.

What is West Athletic Boosters?
Boosters is a volunteer non-profit organization composed of individuals who are part of the community that support Davenport West student athletes, school coaches, and feeder programs by organizing and distributing funds raised through activities and events.

• Development of successful student athletes (classroom and competition)
  
• Celebrate the success of all West athletes, coaches and programs
  
• Up to 4 - $500 Greg Arp Memorial Scholarships- are awarded to student athletes that have played all 4 years (Freshman-Senior) of sport, cheer or dance. -students will apply on website by February 1 annually
  
• Member meetings are open to all members of West High Athlete parents, teachers, coaches every second Wednesday of the month (Sept-May) 6:00-7:00 pm @ Davenport West High School Library
  

How can you help?

• Attend Monthly Booster Meetings
  
• Volunteer to help with the Booster Bash (gather donations for Silent Auction, Live Auction, Wine/Beer Pull, Food/Dessert, set-up/clean)
• Volunteer to help with the Booster’s Mississippi Valley Fair Parking.
  
• Becoming a Booster member.  Information and membership application can be found on the 2024 - 2025 Membership Form page.
  
• Purchase Tickets to the Booster Bash 
  
• Buy West High apparel and have shipped to your door.
  
•  Consider making additional donations especially if you have multiple student-athlete(s) participating

How is the booster funded?
Each team participates in their individual teams fundraiser and share in Boosters group fundraising.
Boosters distributes 100% of the approved funds (minus legal/accounting fees) back to teams through the coaches’ request process.  Booster Group fundraisers include MV Fair parking income, Spirit Wear, Booster Bash and Business donations (John Deere Benevity).
